Support the Work of the Institute
and Its Mission for
Greater Lasting Impact
The Institute’s project work is mostly supported by grants and contracts. Our many independent explorations of emerging issues and our pro bono work supporting grassroots groups are made possible through the contributions of our supporters. Over the last couple of years, these include the Institute’s Day After project, our podcast on the Many Futures of Work, our efforts connecting workforce development and entrepreneurship, and notably, our groundbreaking work on the geographies of women and people with disabilities (blog post). These are initiatives that we are growing to earn direct project funding.
The Institute is organized as a collaborative, allowing us to remain agile and keep our overhead low. We also rely on our extended networks to support our innovative efforts in workforce and community economic development.
